One of my favourite buildings in London..

I love the Natural History Museum in London. It's across the road from Matty's nursery so I see it quite a lot, but never get sick of it. The building is lovely, and looking at it on a sunny day always makes me marvel just a little..

The displays inside are pretty interesting too, and it's a pity M is a little too young to enjoy it. They have dinosaurs, the human body, mammals & reptiles, etc, and it's actually very informative. Nevermind, we have another year before we go home so maybe he'll grow up enough by then to have some fun out of it. It would be cool if they had something like this back home (but it'd probably look very out of place too!) =)

We've got CHIJmes and Raffles Hotel back home - lovely colonial buildings. And our Peranakan style houses (like the ones at Spottiswoode Park and Tembeling Road) are pretty cool too.

They'd look out of place in London.

These pics bring back memories. I live across the road from the museum for four years and only managed a rushed 30min visit one evening right before it closed. It's one of those things, you know... thinking that I have plenty of time to get round to doing a proper job of it. Oh well! Nice pics - I oughta go back for a visit.

Did you bring M to see the dinosaurs exhibition? How was the T-Rex? : )
